Sneaky Gene's come from Papa Jack !!

Well ....Lookee here, I am finally getting a little blog written. Okay, that Laura is so sneaky, just like Mommy and Papa Jack. Laura's area is now in Brighton in the President's ward. So they seem to be at the Church house a bit more. I don't know how much I should say, but I find the story so cute I have to spill the beans. Sister's Burns and Evans had a few things to do at the meeting house while the Men's Saturday night Priesthood session was going on. I am sure Laura thought of it . Her and Sister Evan's decided to sneak into the Mother's room and listen to the session over the intercom. Laura was loving it, she was like everyone should hear this. One talk was about recognizing the sacredness of woman and their role in the family. It was a boost to their individual worth for sure. No one knew they were in there, the cell phone rings and its the Elders in their district , just wanting to let them know how precious they are and they love them. Ahhhhh isn't that cute!! I love it when Lolo is sneaky, it brings back so many memories of the sneaky things we did together. She made it through another transfer and is in Brighton for about 6 more weeks, then on to another comp. and area. It was a very emotional Conference weekend for all the missionary's. They all soaked in the words of advice and counsel and were hungary for more. They got to hear Elder Lynn Robbins speak. she couldn't take notes fast enough. They were called into help interpret the deaf members . It sounds like Sis. Evans is really talented in signing and her services are needed quite often. Laura told a great story about President Eyring too, and his confirmation from the Lord to speak on Unity
at Conference. For 6 days straight he wrote a talk, then presented it to the Lord to see if he was supposed to cover a certain topic. Each time the answer was NO, it came to him to speak on Unity, even though he had just recently spoke on it. And he received his answer. Unity was to be his Conference topic, not to many know the story behind his talk. I love that Laura is able to hear these great men show their trust and love in the Lord. It is so heart warming to read Laura's letters and see her potential and growth. She is amazing. I hope you all enjoyed Conference weekend. It is definitely a time to fill our cup with counsel from the General Authorities. Hopefully, we will have a baptism soon. So everybody pray for Kenneth. "Stay on the Right Side of the Light Side? Love to you all for your letters and support. We love you all.
Love a Missionary Mom
